The Platform
Journler was created exclusively for Macintosh in the Objective-C programming language using
Apple's Xcode development environment.
Journler 2.5 is MacOS 10.4 Tiger only, requiring QuickTime 7 and making extensive use of Spotlight.
Open Source
Journler takes advantage of open source software to accomplish its more specialized tasks.
Phil also hopes to
make available a number of
Journler's otherwise independent features. He just needs to get around to it.

About the Developer
Journler was conceived and created by Philip Dow. Phil currently lives in Austria, where he works exclusively
on Journler and related projects.
The previous two years he was an English teaching assistant in the Austrian school system.
Phil's interests include mountains, music, philosophy, religion, literature,
language, and strangely enough computer science. Phil may be reached at
phil@journler.com.
Bug reports, suggestions, and a short word are all appreciated.
