Need to add an image to an entry but forgot your camera? Journler is there for you. Journler's built-in support for your iSight or QuickTime compatible camera not only allows you to record video it also lets you take a quick picture or two.

Bring up the Snapshot window by clicking the Snapshot toolbar item or choosing Capture a Snapshot from the Edit > Insert Audio/Video menu. You'll be able to take four pictures before selecting one to insert in your entry.

Click the red camera button once to take a picture. Journler takes a photo after the three second countdown finishes and adds the photo to the queue. Double-click an image to view it. Click the circle-x close button to activate the camera again.

When you have a picture you like, select it by clicking the image once and press the Insert Selection button to add it to the foremost entry.

Tip: Hold down the alt/option key when you start the snapshot window and Journler will keep it at the fore no matter what application you're using.
